Hello! I'm Tayla.

I am a self taught freelance makeup artist based in Exeter, Devon.  With over 8 years experience and specialising in bridal makeup. I’ve always had a passion for art, I love being able to create a beautiful, polished and picture perfect look tailored to each individual. I feel very privileged to be in this industry and to have this opportunity to help people look and feel their best.

I started in the photography studios of Exeter College, working with a number of different photographers within my Art and Design course. This gave me the passion, confidence and the drive to become a Freelance Makeup Artist. I gained most of my confidence when friends and family would ask me to be their wedding Makeup Artist. 

I have also been the lead makeup artist on photoshoots and awards entries such as L'Oréal Colour Trophy 2017 and Salon Business Awards with SAKS Exeter.

I am very proud to be able to assist and work alongside the brilliant team at Kensa Boudoir, an independent, woman owned photography studio. They specialise in boudoir shoots, which means, I get the freedom to create beautiful and eye catching, photograph ready looks for woman who need a boost in self-confidence. 

I gained further experience as a Makeup Artist working for Benefit Cosmetics.

Working for a cosmetic company helped me increase my knowledge of skincare, products, makeup artist skills and brow waxing.

Makeup is my passion, and so is enhancing a persons natural beauty.
